Monthly faves!

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday! A lot has gone on - including me seeing The Fault In Our Stars and getting a Barbeque! Both amazing - also want to add that tfios was too emotional for me to handleπŸ˜† anyway - on with the blog...

To start - my first favourites are my shampoo and conditioner from L'Oreal Elvive! The are the Nutri Gloss Crystal ones for fine/dull hair. My hair is actually quite thick and not that dull - but they work for me!
The shampoo is really nice beCause it is weightless and adds volume without making it too crazy! It also adds shine without looking greasy! It is transparent with micro crystals!
The conditioner is intensive but is made to work in 60 seconds - saviour of my life! Again - very light so it doesn't leave my hair greasy or heavy! It is a creamy, pale pink with micro crystals!

My second are my New Look sunglasses! They are quite old and from my sister! They are a frosted clear pigment with small silver detailing! The lenses are tinted purple!

My third is my GloryBox wash bag! I got a one off GloryBox (like a beauty subscription which sends you cosmetics) in November and with it came a wash bag! It is the perfect size for my cosmetics and my large OralB vibrating toothbrush! I really like that it is fabric so takes up as little space as possible!
I also love the print!

My fourth favourite is my Pink Chiffon hand sanitizer from Miamis' BathAndBodyWorks! It smells really nice (like fruit punch) and looks cute too! Is it clear with sparkly bits!

My next is an all time love! It is my TheBodyShop Madagascan Vanilla fragrance! It smells as it sounds and makes me feel so happy! One of my most beloved perfumes!!!

My next is something I wear religiously in the summer - SUN CREAM! I love love love the Nivea Kids factor 30 pocket size sun cream! Is is light but protects you and fits in all of my handbags and clutches! An absolute must...

Next is my What's Nude S&G Lid Stuff quad! Including the colour Vanilla - a matte, oyster shade! I use my angled eyebrow brush from RealTechniques to use it as a brow bone enhancer! It looks really natural and give light to the face! My look isn't complete without it!

Another classic is my Hurraw lip balm from American Apparel or WholeFoodsMarket! I have the grapfruit, ginger and eucalyptus flavour! Really hydrating and awakening!

Next is the most precious mascara in he while world... L'Oreal False Lash Flutter in black! Oh my god - this is the best mascara! It lasts for yonks and never clumps! It spreads my lashes without looking spidery and adds the right amount if volume! Amazing - I had one before and tried another 4 after it - none were as good!

My second last is my flavoured lipgloss squeeze tube from Victoria's Secret in Pink Goes Pop! It is a really nice baby pink and comes to be quite natural on the lips! Smells and tastes amazing - really easy application! Well done VS!

My last is the ever famous Natural Collection TeaTree and WitchHazel duo end spot wand! It treats spots instantly and sinks in immediately! Love πŸ’•

 Hope you have enjoyed today's....

Wait! I have an extra bonus! I got a new phone case and many friends have asked where it is from. I said Miami - only to reveal to them now that it is from Amazon! Hope you guys did enjoy today's blog - see you next Sunday! X

My skin care routine!

Hi everyone! I just want to start by saying that I am sorry for not posting on Wednesday - in truth, I forgot! So I think I should decide not to commit to any weekday blogging. I will now upload on Sundays!

Anyway - my skin care routine:

I start by removing any make up I have on with either Bioderma or Nuxe Rise cleanser!
Both are deep cleansers and don't leave sticky residue πŸ‘ They are also really sensitive which is what I look for in a face product!

So I then wash my face with my No7 face brush
And my current face wash which is the GarnierSkinNaturals 'Shine Be Gone' face wash with Moringa and Tea tree!
This mattifies and freshens my skin nicely!

If at night I also put with my Nuxe Crème Fraishe night cream on to hydrate my face!
But I could possibly put on my TheBodyShop spot treatment night cream!
It contains TeaTree to treat spots quickly and effectively! It is really good and heals blemishes over night! Love πŸ’•

In the day I could use a number of products on my face including my TheBodyShop seaweed face cream for oily skin! This doesn't react with my skin and leaves it matte!
The only problem with this is that it doesn't have SPF in it! I have to separately put on my GarnierKids factor 30 on separately! I wear suncream religiously in the summer!!!

I could also use my Nuxe Age Defying face cream for youthful skin (sorry no picture 😭).

And my lasts product is the Natural Collection TeaTree and Witch Hazel spot wand! It is amazing! It has an end for both day and night so you can apply it appropriately! Is gets ridof germs/ dirt on your pores (basically a spot) gently - but quickly!
Life saver!

I hope you have enjoyed this blog and I will see you next Sunday! Xx

Different BerryLip techniques!

Hey everyone! Today's blog is going to be really fun to write and hopefully fun and helpful for you to read! I am doing a few different lip techniques you can produce with berry lip products!

Just a first tip - always make sure your lips are in good condition! I would reccomend exfoliating them wih either a wet toothbrush or a lip scrub like the ones from Lush!

Then always moisturizer your lips! I have listed a few and some comments below:

Always good for deep hydration! From WholeFoodsMarket.

An ointment you can get in tubes and tubs - great for anything! Buy from Austrailia or Miami!

These are good as lip balms and do not leave too much creamy residue πŸ‘ Buy from anywhere but Europe!

Let's dive in with my first lip product - the Rimmel London Lasting Finish lip liner in Black Tulip (063).
In this photo I have outlined my lips and filled them in! I am not a big fan of liners and I seldom use them! But if I do - in the darker shades - this would be my liner of choice! I never line my lips and fill them in with another product! It looks choppy and messy - this is the safest and easiest way!

My second method is using my Revlon Lip Butter in PinkTruffle (001). This is slightly lighter and is on the brown nude side - but I feel like it still counts as a berry shade! Really smooth - nice application!
As you can tell - this is rather purple and is on the muted side! Lovely texture! You can layer this in many different ways so you can have a fuller or faded effect!

My third is a lipstick from Kiko and is the darkest I own! Truth be told - if I went dark enough it would be brown/dark purple! The trick with these types is the technique! I will do a few different ones with this product!
In this photo I have dabbed on the lipstick and rubbed lightly to create a washed berry effect!
Here I have done some light, but firm stroke of the bullet on to my lips and rubbed them together firmly. This creates a much darker finish!
Here I have applied it as I would a regular lipstick. So I have pressed harder than in previous pictures!
And this is the darkest I could get it! I achieved this by putting layers of lipstick on! I basically coated my lips in a dark purple! So those are all the ways you could use the Kiko lipsticks!!!

Just a warning! The picture below is what is left after using the Kiko and trying to get it off! Believe me - I tried my best...

Now on to my lip lacker! I only have one and it is from Maybelline New York! It is in Endless Ruby (540). It has the best application ever!!!!
This is another that doesn't budge easily!
As you might be able to tell - it is on the red side of berry lip lackers! I applied on top of my lips that had the Kiko residue on them - so it built up nicely!

My last example is of my Ted Baker No1 lip gloss! This is really nice and has a great formula, but it smudges easily - so I would recommend it if you aren't eating much or having you hair in your face (in case if dancing)! A lovely colour - a hybrid between Maybelline and Kiko! It is extremely hard to apply btw!

So those are my berry lip techniques! I hope I have helped and interested you in today's blog! I also hope you feel comfortable enough to enter the berry lip world if you haven't already! Don't worry, there are loads of different ways to use products like these! Have a nice week!πŸ‘„

Monthly faves!

Hey everyone! Before anything else - I want to appologise quickly for my blog absence on Sunday. My phone broke so I couldn't access my blogs for 3 days! Really sorry about that - will take more care from now on! On to the blog! πŸ‘

The first is a face wash from Boots that I have been using recently with my face brush!
It is the GarnierSkinNaturals Clarifying Wash for combination to oily skin! It is free of parabens and contains two great ingredients: Moringa and Tea Tree πŸ‘ It makes my skin feel refreshed and always smells nice! It removes oil from my face for 24hrs which is really helpful and makes life easier!

The next is (of course) my SoapAndGlory liquid illuminating highlighter! My absolute holy grail for radiant looking skin - this is fabulous!
It is my number one favourite for a glory finish on the face! My all time favourite highlighter - I don't need to use bronzes when I have this on because it adds light to my face when the sun catches it - naturally contouring my face!

My next are my FCUK eyelash curlers! They are brilliant quality as I have had them for 2/3 years and no damages done!
They are in simple black and are easy to use! They are painless and let my mascara go on smoothly and evenly! Love πŸ‘

The next is a BarryM brush that I have been using recently to blend my MAC concealer in! It's the perfect size for the areas I look to cover! It smooths the concealer on and stops any germs on my hands speeding to my face!
As I don't use it for eyeshadow - I found it a perfect job!

The next item is a classic! It is the WhileFoodsMarket 'Hurraw!' range of lip balms! I have the lemon and ginger scent! It really awakens me and treats my lips with ultimate care.
The shape is really good for application as the actual bullet is an oval cylinder! The packaging is funky too!

My next is a BarryM eyebrow spooly and brush! Big standard - but does the job!
A nice pink - and really makes my brows neater and even without having to fill them in!

My last beauty related item is the NaturalCollection TeaTree and WitchHazel duo end spot wand!
It treats spots with sensitivity and treats them effectively! There are day and night ends which use at the appropriate time! Great purchase πŸ‘

My second last are my H&M rose gold sunnies! They are really sleek and elegant!
They go with everything and the thin frames are trΓ©s chic! The lenses are tinted purple!

My last item are my NewLook gold hoop earrings! They go with almost everything and are not painful! They are also easy to use!
They're more interesting than regular studs and are simple yet effective!

I hope you enjoyed my blog! See you Sunday! X
