Different BerryLip techniques!

Hey everyone! Today's blog is going to be really fun to write and hopefully fun and helpful for you to read! I am doing a few different lip techniques you can produce with berry lip products!

Just a first tip - always make sure your lips are in good condition! I would reccomend exfoliating them wih either a wet toothbrush or a lip scrub like the ones from Lush!

Then always moisturizer your lips! I have listed a few and some comments below:

Always good for deep hydration! From WholeFoodsMarket.

An ointment you can get in tubes and tubs - great for anything! Buy from Austrailia or Miami!

These are good as lip balms and do not leave too much creamy residue 👍 Buy from anywhere but Europe!

Let's dive in with my first lip product - the Rimmel London Lasting Finish lip liner in Black Tulip (063).
In this photo I have outlined my lips and filled them in! I am not a big fan of liners and I seldom use them! But if I do - in the darker shades - this would be my liner of choice! I never line my lips and fill them in with another product! It looks choppy and messy - this is the safest and easiest way!

My second method is using my Revlon Lip Butter in PinkTruffle (001). This is slightly lighter and is on the brown nude side - but I feel like it still counts as a berry shade! Really smooth - nice application!
As you can tell - this is rather purple and is on the muted side! Lovely texture! You can layer this in many different ways so you can have a fuller or faded effect!

My third is a lipstick from Kiko and is the darkest I own! Truth be told - if I went dark enough it would be brown/dark purple! The trick with these types is the technique! I will do a few different ones with this product!
In this photo I have dabbed on the lipstick and rubbed lightly to create a washed berry effect!
Here I have done some light, but firm stroke of the bullet on to my lips and rubbed them together firmly. This creates a much darker finish!
Here I have applied it as I would a regular lipstick. So I have pressed harder than in previous pictures!
And this is the darkest I could get it! I achieved this by putting layers of lipstick on! I basically coated my lips in a dark purple! So those are all the ways you could use the Kiko lipsticks!!!

Just a warning! The picture below is what is left after using the Kiko and trying to get it off! Believe me - I tried my best...

Now on to my lip lacker! I only have one and it is from Maybelline New York! It is in Endless Ruby (540). It has the best application ever!!!!
This is another that doesn't budge easily!
As you might be able to tell - it is on the red side of berry lip lackers! I applied on top of my lips that had the Kiko residue on them - so it built up nicely!

My last example is of my Ted Baker No1 lip gloss! This is really nice and has a great formula, but it smudges easily - so I would recommend it if you aren't eating much or having you hair in your face (in case if dancing)! A lovely colour - a hybrid between Maybelline and Kiko! It is extremely hard to apply btw!

So those are my berry lip techniques! I hope I have helped and interested you in today's blog! I also hope you feel comfortable enough to enter the berry lip world if you haven't already! Don't worry, there are loads of different ways to use products like these! Have a nice week!👄
