Cosmetics haul!

Hey guys! Todays blog is finally one including nail products. I have had a few email requests asking for them but to be honest I am probably not the best person to ask for tips on nail varnish! If you have any other requests, you can always email issymagsblog@gmail.com

Anyway - I was doing some shopping in Sainsbury's of course and picked up a couple of necessities and more! The first were three nail varnishes. Rimmel is my favourite brand for nail products because they have an amazing formula and a great range of colours. My favourite nude varnish is called Soul Session and as I was out, I picked another one of those. I also wanted a grey one so I got Moon. There was also a black there and I have a love for black varnish and fake nails so I couldn't resist. It was also a little bit jazzier as it has a matte 'velvet' finish. I'm not sure if t really comes off as velvet but I love matte finishes and it looks sophisticated on the nail.

I also got an Aussie product. It is a hairspray that gives you natural looking beachy waves. I do have naturally curly hair but it will add a more tossed look. It will also add volume.

I then got some very exciting toothpaste. (No but actually it's whitening which makes it a little more interesting.)

I then got some shaving foam for dry skin because some blades dry out your skin. SatinCare is really nice and leaves a smooth touch on the skin.

I then got an amazing new face wash from my fave - Garnier. It has the wash inside and has a brush on the end. The bristles are soft, plastic ones and you move the brush in circular motions across your face. Though it isn't as good as the scrub washes I have tried from their range - it is a nice, lighter wash for days when you have sensitive skin.

I then picked a new, everyday face wash which is a scrub wash. It is a deep cleanser and I'm excited to try it after I have finished the charcoal scrub. Garnier is definitely my favourite brand for skincare as I have oily skin and they are not too harsh but they treat my face nicely and remove excess oil gently. Definitely a recommendation for any of you with oily skin!

I hope I have been a help to you all in my recommendations and if you have any blog suggestions or want some advice on anything I have mentioned in previous blogs, again feel free to email me at the address at the top! xx

Mini haul 💜

When I say mini haul in this blog - I really do mean mini haul. It is literally three items that I thought would look nice and wintery/ autumnal and cute with my black coat!

The fist is a plain black skater skirt from New Look! I needed a new one as I have put on height and it goes with everything!

The second is from H&M - it is a skirt that has an elasticated waist and is black and white. I wanted a skirt a little more interesting than plain black - but its not exactly Lady Gaga exciting if you get me?

The last item is the burgundy dress from the previous blog - also an H&M item! It has the texture of chiffon but it isn't sheer!

I know the second blog today was short but as I have just caught up on the blogs missed with this one - I still wanted to write about something my readers like to read and I enjoy writing about! I hope this has given you some simple ideas for your winter clothes - come back next Sunday xxx

Bithday party GRWM!

Hey guys! I wanted to mix things up a little today so I am doing a 'Get Ready With Me' for a friends' party! I chose autumnal colours and themes for my outfit and make up!

I wore a NewLook burgundy dress (recent purchase) which went really nicely with my 2", brown, leather, saddle boots (and tights of course)! The colours compliment each other and the combo will be recurring in Autumn and Winter!

I feel like vanilla is a very warm smell so of course I went for Madagascan Vanilla Flower from The Body Shop as my scent for the evening!

On to make up ---->  I started off with my Vitamin E 'Aqua Boost Sorbet' as my face cream, accompanied by my Simple Rapid Action Spot Zapper (holy grail). This sinks I really quickly and makes a nice base for any make up that you follow up with. It also keeps your concealer in place well because of its' formula.

I then applied two layers of concealer around the eye area. The first being Bourjois Paris 'Healthy Mix' and then Laura Mercier's concealer pot! They mesh well together as they are two different tones - so they blend nicely.

As I have oily skin - I  set the concealer and reduce shine with my The Body Shop setting powder compact in 06! I also use my Models Own Kabuki brush.

For my eye shadow I wanted a look that had a little pizzazz - so I combined two pallets to create a coffee, pinky shimmer. I used my nude from the Revlon Colourstay as a base 1 and the pink from my Wet'n'Wild 'Walking on Eggshells' as base 2. I then blended the coffee colours from both in my crease! I also used the 'Brow bone' shade on my brow bone!

(I will insert a picture of my Real Techniques brushes below which I use throughout the look.)

I then curled my lashes with the FCUK eyelash curler and applied my Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara!

My blusher was the cover girl 'Natural Glow' blush which is a natural, peachy shade.

One of my favourite products of all time comes next - The Soap and Glory Hocus Focus liquid highlighter! I applied this to my cheekbones, tip of my nose and my chin!

The last piece of make up I used was my Dior 'Vintage' lipstick (a beautiful nude shade).

As accessories go - I went for the rose gold studs from my Accesorize set!

I also painted my nails a nude colour form the Rimmel London, Kate Moss collection!

I hope you enjoyed todays blog - there will be another one up later today - see you next week xxx

Shoes galore!

Today I went shopping again! And as I owe you another blog after this - I am writing about the most gorgeous boots in town! Of course I was in New Look and I was looking for the perfect shoes!

I was specifically looking for boots and school shoes (bleh) and becuase I have authotics (insoles that help the arches l gym feet) that are like 3cm thick - it's hard to show shop (don't worry I'll manage). Anyway - I wanted a practical pair and a nice pair so I hunted through like two shops to find them!!! But it was worth it.

The first pair (New Look) are the practical pair. They are a light tan/beige color with a material hem around the top of about 5cm - nice comfy and nice!

The axons are the nicer pair - they have a heel in them of 2" (inches) and they are dark vein! They have a riding boot style and a buckle - super cute!

I then got my school shoes from Clarks! They are black brogues - quite simple but I added a pic ;)

Then I got myself I nice winter coat which of course had to be balck as school regulation is firm! But it's more intersting than it sounds as it has a strange texture that I can't explain! It also has a gold zip us the middle!

The last thing I got was a 10 pack of earrings as I loose mine all the time. They are really cute and from accessorise!

Sorry for blog delay - won't happen again xxx

Fashion blog and apologies!

Hey everyone! Sore for the absence of the last two weeks! I feel awful! But today I have a great blog - it's a fashion blog! Always a fave! I went to my favourite deparnetment store and went a bit crazy in New Look!

I was looking for autumnal and wintery items that I was lacking and here they are ....

The first is my first pair of jeans! I have recently gotten into jeans but the ones I have don't fit nicely - like these ones do!
They actually are skinny jeans but the picture is not the best! Sorry for that! They are regular denim with a light washed patch on each knee area - not that I need any encouragement! Really nice!

The second time is also a pair of jeans but they are tighter at the ankle, a little darker and I dont know why - but way softer?
Super excited about theses too and the for is perfect!

Then I got a dries of jumpers! The first is a light grey one that isn't too long as I don't like jumpers that resemble sacks! It has an intersting ridged texture to it that I love as it still remains soft!
Tip: if you are ever buying me a jumper - I won't like it if it isn't soft x

The next is also a jumper! It's also grat - noticing a theme? But it is a more fluffy feel and has white polka dots on it! Really cute and I have a weakness for polka dots!
Nice cuffs aswell!

My last jumper is very different! It is a peachy pink and has zips at the bottom, on the sides! It it super soft and will go nicely with the jeans!

Then I could resist the snuggly, navy hoodie...

The pjs are really comfy and I didn't have any winter ones that actually fit! The first are grey and white worth the odd slash of neon pink!

And the last are cute and pink and I love them. <3

That as my shopping spree. I promise I won't fall behind again! Lots of love xxx
