Haul!

Hey guys! Today I thought I would do a haul blog as I have not done so yet and I have had two major fashion sprees over the last week! I thought I would share my purchases and a few snaps to create a better image!

So I went shopping with my dad on Oxford Street on Sunday and I went a bit crazy... The first shop we hit up was Acessorize and I bought a pair of black and white animal print shorts with drawstrings!
I thought this would go well with coloured tanks and cropped tops! They are lightweight and really summery!

Also in Accesorize - I picked up something I had been eyeing up for a while. This was a casual rucksack that could act as a handbag - but easier on the shoulders! I didn't want anything with super support because I don't plan on carrying bricks in my "handbag".
It has brown leather, a tiny bit of silver metal wear and has Aztec print! Is it many different colours in an Aztec style with small beads making shapes! It goes well with most things, but I have to make sure I don't pattern clash πŸ™ˆ.

Then we went to H&M and I found a passion for it! H&M has a telly good range this spring/summer and all of the things I purchased are really good value!
I did about three sweeps and ended up getting a mint blue dress with triangles cut our of the sides and were replaced with the mint blue colour, but in crochet!
It is a lovely, lightweight material and goes well with my skin tone! I like it very much and plan to wear it with either pumps (ballet flats) or my platform trainers!

I then saw some shorts with braces which I had been yearning for! They are light wash denim with three ladder rips! I could wear wear them with any top that was short enough - so I don't have to tuck it in. I actually bought a cropped top to go with them!
They are purposefully frayed at the end to create a more boho effect! Also a bargain!

I then quickly picked up a six pack (I have used the the other three) of nude sticklers which are extremely useful!

To go with them I bought a cropped top from H&M because it was the perfect length, but was not to long! It is an aqua colour with black, bold print stating "Pretty Daisy" with a black daisy on it!
It is really nice (sorry it is dirty and crumpled, needs to be put in the wash πŸ™ˆ) and I could warmest it with trousers, leggings, skirts and jeans etc.

I am really excited about the next item because I have never had anything like them! They are a pair of white crochet shorts! They are so summer and cute! Ready to wear with a series of different styles tops! Maybe my favourite pair of shorts ever?
So nice and they are not too "granny's curtains" pattern wise!

We the scooted along to Zara in the rain! I only bought one thing in Zara, because the range was very sophisticated and "evening wear", but my purchase was a great one! I bought some powdered pink, long, chiffon trousers! They are really cool and I have never owned trousers before! Maybe a new found love?
At first I thought it was a maxi skirt and I was very excited, but when I saw it was trousers, I was even more thrilled. They are really jazzy and you seldom see people wearing those types of thing! Absolutely amazing! πŸ’•.

The next shopping spree was done today! Me and my friend Amelia went to Brent Cross and hit up a couple of stores and bought ourselves some summer outfits! We browsed The Body Shop and Boots first, but decided to go for clothes first instead! The first place we want to was H&M!

In H&M I bought a white, high neck, cropped top for the summer which I think would look really nice with bother jeans and shorts!
It is quite thin and extentuates the hips! I am quite nervous about wearing these types of tops, but I have two now, and I really like them!

I also bought some 'to die for' shoes! They are light grey Keds on a 1/2 inch white platform! They are a nice soft material and are superbly comfortable!
They have white lace and I love that I could wear cute socks with them! Fave shoes of the moment 😍

I too bought accessorise! I am not a big jewellery perso (apart from earrings), so finding this and actually buying it was good for me! It is really cute and statement? It is a small metal/plastic daisy on a thick, gold chain!
Even though it's a little different to the regular necklace I would have - it's still pretty and nice for summer! Also, relatively delicate for a chain...

I also bought some gorgeous sunglasses! When I was in America, Orlando (2013) I went to UrbanOutfitters and bought a pair of $14 sunnies in a black. They were rounded and trΓ©s Audrey Hepburn, but I lost them πŸ˜ͺ So I was on the hunt for a new pair! I then saw some sunnies with a thin, rose gold frame and brown/purple lenses. I honestly think I am in love!
Nice for spring and summer and quite alien to me!

We then went to NewLook and I bought two items! The first was 2 pairs of hoop earrings (in one set) of metal painted gold and silver! They are quite big, but will look nice with loose hair and other jewellery of the same colour metal!
They are really cute and would be good for all seasons!

I also purchased a mint green top that had little daisies, acting as the hem! It is a thin material, so I might have to wear a vest underneath! It is very different to the usual tank top and will go well with many bottoms!
It is quite floaty and loose, so will be really comfortable!

My last item of the haul was from Boots and was a Mascara! It is the L'Oreal Paris Butterfly Wing Effect Mascara in Black. The wand it amazing and is my number one favourite mascara of all time! The first one I used was a purple because my eyes are brown and if you didn't know, purple brings put the brown in eyes!
He packaging is really sleek and the mascara is the best! I seriously reccomend it!

I hope you enjoyed this blog and it gave you some good fashion ideas! Xx

Breakfast from WholeFoods!

Hey guys! Today I thought I would do a breakfast recipe for you, since I couldn't upload on Wednesday!

I am at my dads' for part of the weekend so we went to WholeFoods. WholeFoods is an indoor market that sells organic and healthy food for good prices! They sell from coffe beans to but butter to organic marshmallows to fruit/veg. Not only did we buy for dinner, I also picked up a few things for my breakfast!
So - my breakfast (above) is a mixture of things! In my bowl - I have berries, the Collective Yoghurt (passion fruit) and my organic Biona granola! Granola has always been a mystery to me and I have always wanted to try it, but I have never found one that I like! So I was on the hunt for a good granola, when I was watching a vlog! It has no sugar in it and is completely natural! There is a range of flavours and I have the Honey Hazelnut flavour. I am worryingly excited...

The combination really gels together well πŸ‘ŒπŸ’•

On the side - you should be able to see a blue glass filled with the Triple Green Smoothie of kiwi, kale, apple, spinach, ginger and lemon! But I also mixed in my OrganicSuperBlends Chai, Acai, Rosehip, Goji, Camu, Lucuma powder! It is a blend of the ingredients listed and is a really good source of protein! It goes well with any smoothies, juices, yoghurts, granolas and porridges! I have the SkinFood flavour which is (hence the name) good for your skin! You can also get PlainOrganic, Detox and Energise!

And last - in the mug, you can see a pink tea with a teabag in it. It is the Pukka Harmonise tea with Organic Rose, Hibiscus and Sweet Vanilla tea! It is has a lot of flavour but is not too full on! It almost calms me and is a nice awakener for the morning!

Hopefully you have enjoyed my blog and will try these ideas! Xx

My winged liner look!

Hey guys! It's that time again... Exam season! Or at least for most UK schools, so I might not be posting this Wednesday - but will definitely upload on Sunday! Anyway - for my Sunday post, I wanted to tell you of a new look I have been going for. It is the the winged liner or 'cat eye' look. Now, obviously by the pictures - you can tell I am not a pro, but I have only done it once or twice! So today I will telling you of my views on good/bad products and will be sharing any tips I can! Enjoy...
So - this is a close up shot of my right eye, open and closed. I am only wearing some MAC NC20 Concealer on my lid (to hide discolouration) and my Collection Mascara (for lash volume), but my new found liner love is the No17 Cream Liquid Liner in jet black.
This liner is amazing for cat eyes or flicks because of its' unique brush:
It is super thin and full of liquid - making it easier to get as close to the lash line as possible! It is not dry like other liners, so this makes sweeping it across very easy and usually makes it even!

The most common mistake made with liquid or gel liner is that one eye is disproportionate against the other. One is usually fine and smudge free, while the other can turn out to be thick and uneven! But with this liner, it is less if an issue! It has really easy application and great pigmentation - ensuring that it doesn't go translucent or watery in the tube! Those are most of my raves about my liner - but my last is that is a decent size and would fit well in a make up bag!

Now on to any tips! Many people are looking for tips on how to apply winged liner, and though I am not a professional - I am happy to share ☺️

1. I would advise to have a decent liner for starters - the process is already easier from here!
2. Always have a steady hand - there is no reason to be nervous, for if it goes wrong - you can take it off!
3. Never experiment with full eye make up on already - if it goes badly - the whole eye will have to be re-applied!
4. Also do not experiment when you are going out and you don't have enough time - rushing yourself or ruining your whole evenings' make up (only hours before) will put you in a flustered and hasty mood!
5. Test the liners' think ness on your hand before application - this way you know how firmly you have to apply it and how much to put on!
6. Be as calm as possible and even if it goes wrong - don't rule out winged liner forever!
7. Keep near the lash line and use a firm, steady, sweeping action! Bravo!

I hope you have enjoyed today's blog and have found it useful! Before  I go, I am going to put some pictures of other liners you could use and my thoughts! πŸ’•

Here we have the Jelly Pong Pong eye pencil in a brown with gold flecks - I really like this for tight lining or going along both top/bottom water lines! I personally feel that these are not as good for winged liner!

Here we have the RIMMEL Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal liner in 012 Bronze. Again - like  the Jelly Pong Pong - I feel that it is better for tight lining and is one of my favourite products to work with along my waterline!

Now - we have the infamous Eyeko Skinny Mini liquid liner in Black! I was truthfully disapointed by this product! I got it for free at Boots (UK store) when I was buying cosmetics with a friend - now this does not mean it was of less value (or worse) than any other Eyeko product! In fact - the Eyeko products are quite expensive so I was not pleased! I had only use it once - and I went back to it a few weeks later - but it was dried out! I had shut the lid firmly and shaken it before and after use! No matter what I did - I couldn't revive it! Other Eyeko eye products are fantastic - but I found this one to be too thick, dry and the nib too spongey! But maybe I am being negative?

And a quick and useful holy grail for all of you: (come check on Wednseday just in case I upload, definitely come and read on Sunday xx)

No7 Face Brush

Hey guys! Today I thought I would write about my No7 Face Brush! It is a recent and purchase of mine and I really like it! I bought mine from Boots (UK store) for £15 and the head replacements £8 (but I have yet to buy these).

I was a little stumped on how to write all the points about the brush down, so I thought I would answer some questions in an interview format as well!

So, we know where the face brush comes from and how much it costs, but how does it work?
The face brush is a battery operated, handheld device used for washing your face. So, the head of the brush (replaceable) has a set of long, soft, hair bristles and it moves in a circular motion when you press the button. While this is going on, it vibrates and you are moving it across your face! It is like a deep cleanser at the tip of your fingers!

What made you but the face brush?
Well, I suffer from milia on my face and arms, and one day I had decided that none of my face washes were working on  their own or with a flannel - so I needed to change it! And - if you don't know what milia are, they are small spots on the skin that (I believe) are triggered by sweat or any dirt. So on my nose, cheeks and chin I have these (almost invisible) spots that I can always feel, but had never gotten rid of, but how? So I wanted to buy it because I was taking a stand against the skin on my face and to be honest - it was bringing my confidence down!

Ok, so where did you here about it?
Well, like most beauty blog/vloggers, I had heard about the Clarisonic Mia via blogs, vlogs or recommendations! The only problem with the Clarisonic without trying it is that you can only buy it in America! Now, I don't live in America and it costs quite a lot to ship through Amazon - so I needed to find an alternative. So one day I walked in to Boots and started my hunt for a 'Face Brush'. I started to look in the face wash section, this proved unsatisfying, but little did I know - my mum had gone to electronics isle and had found my saviour. It was the No7 (very trust worthy brand) Face Brush for £15!

Now - the deal breaker - what do you think of this product?
I love it! It works immediately and all the milia on my face is gone! My face feels smoother, softer and clearer! I am really impressed! I also feel more self confident because once the things that lower your self esteem are improved - so is your overall aura and personality! I feel a lot happier and I do think my smile is a little brighter!

I hope you enjoyed my blog today - and I also have a few tips and tricks for you all:

I would recommend either using the Bioderma face gel or the Freederm face wash with the brush.
Don't fret on how to use it - there are instructions inside.
There are two speeds on the brush, when you use it for the first time, go on the lower speed and be gentle!

I would really recommend it to any of you out there unless you have damadged, very dry or very sensitive skin x

My tumblr room!

Hey guys - I know that I have been posting a lot recently, but I wanted to give you a rough idea of what my blog might be about: fashion, make up, cute tumblr items, social network. So today I wanted to show you a picture of my room (that I took last night) when I was going to sleep.

It just looked really cute with my Homebase fairy lights around the headboard. All of my furniture apart from my John Lewis (a UK store) desk, my wardrobes & my wooden chest (full of hair products and tools) are from Dunelm Mill. Because I live in the UK, these stores may not be in foreign countries (really sorry). Anyway - I have a bed, a vanity (like a make up dresser) and a bedside table from Dunelm Mill in the design 'Ivory'.

The design doesn't really change much apart from the shape, detail and colour of the furniture. As you can see mine is rather 'shabby chic' with a curvy headboard and a small flower design. It is made of wood, painted ivory!

My bed covers are from John Lewis at Home and my blankets are too! The stuffed animal on my bed is a polar bear and is a pillow pet (don't laugh, he actually goes really well with the design of my room and is a good snuggle buddy ☺️

You can't really tell, but my rooms are a mint blue colour and is called 'jade white', it is from Dulux! The furniture is l wood and is ivory. My bed sheets are white, one blanket is cream and one a blue colour.

Anyway, the reason I took a picture was not only because it looks all cute and boutiquey, but because I think it added a nice warm atmosphere to my room! The theme of my room is white and mint blue (or any colours in those shades) and I designed it myself!

I hope that this can give you an idea of different room designs if you are decorating your room too, or struggling for ideas to redo it! X

Spring fashion craves and party outfits!

Hey everyone! Today I thought I would blog about what fashion I am into and what style of clothes I prefer! Now, I have never been assigned a particular 'fashion style' and I don't know what mine would be - but I hope I am not totally clueless! Most people want to have a sense of style, and many do! But who is to clarify what 'style' or 'fashionable clothes' or 'fashionable shops' are? There isn't a rule book - nobody ever said there were rules, but I hope to share my tips or likes/dislikes with you!

So, my favorite shops are (get ready to find out that I am clichΓ©) Topshop, Urban Outfoters, ASOS and New Look! I know, I know - I am not letting you in on any new info or reccome ding cool, new shops, but I really like the above!

Above - the pictures are of some New Look clothes (on newlook.co.uk) that have caught my attention.

The very top one is a £22.99 pair of short, light washed  braces. I don't know the technical term, but these are basically shorts that have craves attached and a pocket of the breast (giggle giggle). It think they would look really nice in summer over a colourful T-shirt with a light cardi and a messy bun?!

The second item is a £17.99 white, lacy skater dress (a popular dress/skirt style). I think this would be nice Thor slightly posher events, like a light dinner - or maybe a big BBQ in the summer? It might be nice with a half ponytail, pumps and nurturant make up!

The third item are a pair of £12.99 printed, loose trousers! I never usually wear anything like this, but these look super comfortable and prwtty! If it was a little bit colder in the springtime, then light trousers are a must ! I usually wear leggings, dresses and skirts, so this is a new thing for me! My friend, Rosie always wears cool things like these and looks amazing in them! She pairs them with baggy Ts, messy buns and light jackets! Also, the design is super girly!

The fourth clothing option are a pair of £12.99 high waisted, light washed, shorts! I love shorts (only for summer as I don't really like my legs) and high waistera are my everything! They are really flattering and super comfy! I think these go amazingly with floral T-shirts tucked in or printed Ts out loose - also nice with a pair of Converse or Vans! Really casual, but not sloppy - also, user £13? Bargain 😍

The last piece of clothing I crave is a pair of £17.99 acid washed, high waisted, dungarees! I used to wear the dorkier dungarees all the time as a child, and now - I have rekindled my love for them! As I said before, these are high waisted (love) and have braces (one of my favourite, new things apart from collars) so they already take my fancy! But they are also quite alien to me, as I really don't wear acid washed denim at all - but I think it looks really cool! I might wear these with a plain T-shirt, a leather jacket, vans and my hair down, with brachytherapy waves?

Anyway - I thought I would share my thoughts in these items!

Ok, this blog might be a little longer because I wanted to incorporate some new found loves of mine from H&M. The picture below includes both:

In this picture you should be able to see my clothes - the two most loved items are my lacy dress and platform shoes! (Again bought with Rosie). This was me, getting ready for a birthday party of one of my friends, Amy! The dress was £19.99 and the shoes £14.99. They both immediately grabbed my attention!

The dress is lace, which makes it automatically amazing and it is a lovely white (love). It is fitted at the bodice and goes out, like a flower in the bottom of the gown. It is super me and I lobe it to pieces! I can dress it down and dress it up, which I like!

I can do the same withr the shoes! You see, I didn't want to wear heels because I am as tall as my 16 year old sister (quite tall for a girl of my age), but I didn't want to feel small, so I wore platform shoes: casual enough - still maing me feel tall. They are very comfortable and I wear them on a regular basis (obvs not school regulation). The colour matches the dress to a tee and they went well with the outfit.

I think the whole ensemble was quite nice and I straightened my hair and did a brown smokey eye to go with it! I hope this suuuuper long blog can give you inspiration and an insight on my tastes! Lots of love x

Make up travel essentials!

Hey guys! I thought I would go through my make up travel essentials! Of course, everyone has different preferences and opinions, but if you were looking for recommendations or comparisons, I hope this helps!

So as you can see above, I have photographed some of my make up, accessories (Flower crown: French market, Sunnies: Urban Outfitter $14) and my polaroid camera (Amazon)! This was when I went to France on holiday in April. This is my regular travel make up!

I usually bring my Real Techniques (purple range) brushes (£15) and my Model's Own Kabuki Brush for application. For skincare I brought my Body Shop Seaweed Face Cream and I also bought a skin care range from Nuxe Face and Body while I was there. I also brought my Natural Collection Duo Action Spot Wand (an absolute life saver).

I also brought my Mitchum deodorant, a small, red compact mirror and an Oral B toothbrush aswell ;)

For face make up I brought my Body Shop Face Compact Powder in 06, two Cover Girl blushers in Soft Mink and Natural Glow. I also brought my favourite product of the moment from Soap and Glory, which is a liquid highlighter (an cream with an oyster sheen). For concealers, I decided to bring two to blend together, so I brought my Rimmel London Lipstick Concealer in a nude with a pick undertone and my MAC Brush concealer in NC20 (yellow undertone).

For my eyes - I decided to save space, so I only brought a small quad from Soap and Glory from the range Lid Stuff in What's Nude? My mascara is from Collection and is in jet black.

Now, I am a lips girl all the way! So for lip choices, I went all out so I had plenty of options. For lipsticks I brought, the L'Oreal coral lipstick in Tropical Fusion. I also brought my Dior nude stick in Vintage. I also brought three of my Baby Lips tinted balms, Very Cherry, Watermelon and Peach Kiss. For lip gloss I brought my Accessorize hot pink  and one in a nude/pink shade. I was also loving my Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker in Punch Bowl. For lip balms I love my AkkaPakka cream lip balm (from an airline).

For a few more toiletries, I brought my (pink cap) Bioderma make up remover and my Bath and Body Works perfume (75ml) in Cashmere Glow!

So, those are all of my regular travel essentials. I hope you enjoy x
